We spent New Year's Eve at the Meeting Hall and had a blast !
Thank you Maria and Mel for making it so fun to be there! - for me the highlights of the evening were the ping-pong tournament and of course ...planning the Youth Trip ...lol ! Well organizing etc down to the nitty gritty details has always appealed to me. And working with Delores, Isaac & Abraham made it even better!
The food shopping was the best ....but now Im getting carried away, coz that wasn't New Year's Eve :)
The little kids did some skits - and we discovered that they actually liked it !! Curtains rise , curtains fall ! To be or not to be ...! Who'd have thought it ?! I liked the narrator best and the fill-ins from a certain budding actor....
The Bible verse charades or was it a verse from the New songs were hilarious and Harvey and "Dad" (Bob Sacra- my father-in-law) were priceless. "Have fervent love one for another" or something to the effect was I believe their lot !!
And then it was 2007 .....
It is.
"Awake, O north wind, And come, O south! Blow upon my garden, That its spices may flow out" S of Sol 4:16
And it did ....
